Abstract of Research and Education
Research:
My main area of interest is performance evaluation systems, which are a part of management accounting systems. Specifically, I examine the relationship between the design of performance evaluation systems (such as the criteria used, how performance targets are set, or how feedback is given) and either employee behavior or organizational performance. Additionally, I am interested in the management control systems of organizations where creativity is crucial.
Education:
I will be teaching “Management Accounting” to undergraduate students. Given that management accounting is relevant to almost everyone working in an organization, I aim to familiarize my students with the topics, even those who may not feel confident in accounting.
In addition, I will be teaching “Advanced Management Accounting” to graduate students. By reading research papers, I hope to assist students in conducting their own research.
