- Title: Multinational Firms’ Innovation and Affiliates’ Import Decisions
- Presenter: Dr. Trang Hoang (Federal Reserve Board of Governors)
- About the presenter:
Dr. Trang Hoang is a Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, International Finance Division, Trade & Quantitative Studies Section. She is an emerging scholar in international economics, with research published in the Journal of International Economics, Journal of Development Economics, and at American Economic Journal: Microeconomics. Her work has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the 2020 Econometric Society Winter School Best Paper in Applied Economics Award and the 27th FREIT–EIIT Best Graduate Student Paper Award. She was also a finalist for the 2020 WTO Essay Award for Young Economists and the 2023 Distinguished CESifo Affiliate Award.
