Title | Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using Partial Least Squares (PLS)-An Introduction to the Software SmartPLS & Hands-on Exercises |
Contentes |
This two-day course offers a comprehensive introduction to the analysis of empirical data through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), focusing on its application in social science research. Participants will gain expertise in building, estimating, and analyzing path models using SmartPLS 4. The course covers various forms of path models, including mediation, moderation, and those incorporating higher-order constructs. The seminar incorporates both theoretical content and hands-on exercises to guide participants through the entire process of integrating data into the model, specifying the model, analyzing it, and interpreting the results. The hands-on exercises utilize a sample dataset with a marketing focus. Additionally, participants will learn how to report PLS-SEM results in research papers. The course encourages discussions on research ideas or ongoing projects involving survey data or PLS-SEM. The seminar employs explanatory slides and documents, which will be made available to participants. |
