This book looks at the future direction of business administration based on the history of Kobe University’s Faculty of Business Administration and Graduate School of Business Administration (Kobe University Business School: KUBS).  The book is an international publication that looks at the unique education and research style of the business school, which draws on the lineage of higher commercial schools not found in former imperial universities in Japan, and the realities of the highly individualistic professors at the school.
The book provides an easy-to-understand explanation of the development and current status of business administration in a broad sense, including accounting and commerce, as well as business administration in a narrower sense. Illustrations and photographs are inserted throughout the book to make it easier to read.
