伊賀隆賞は、1971年から1990年の19年にわたり神戸大学経営学部経営数学講座の教授として経営数学分野の教育研究に尽力された伊賀隆先生を記念し、神戸大学大学院経営学研究科において経営の数理・数量的研究の分野で優れた研究成果をあげた学生を表彰するものです。伊賀隆先生が2013年2月に亡くなられたおりにご遺族から神戸大学大学院経営学研究科の発展のためにとのご寄付がありましたので、一周忌にあたる2014年3月にこの賞を創設して、毎年課程博士号を授与される学生のうち賞の趣旨に該当する学生があれば1名を選んで表彰し、ご遺族の寄付を基金として副賞を贈呈しています。
